The Well began as a food pantry in a local church in 2006, with the goal of showing God's love by giving food to those in need. In 2008 the decision was made to incorporate. The Well Food Pantry filed Articles of Incorporation and officially changed the organization's name to The Well Outreach. In 2009 The Well Outreach received it's own 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and has since operated as its own entity, separate from its founding church. WellSpring Christian Church Launched The Well as a way to meet the needs within the community and has continued to be very supportive of its ministry. Numerous other congregations, organizations, businesses and individuals have joined forces to make The Well a truly community-driven effort. Our mission continues to be "to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those in need through supporting spiritual, emotional and physical growth." Our goals for 2013 include reaching out to the Spanish-speaking community and exploring additional ways to meet the food assistance needs of the elderly in our community.
