There are many ways to donate your time to The Well Outreach Food Pantry.
Here are some of the areas we have provided. If you have an idea on how you could donate time to The Well Outreach please contact Sully Cook at sully@springhillwell.org.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Church and Community Liaison - We need volunteers to help connect The Well with your church, business, school or community organization. We need individuals to coordinate food drives, and advertise fundraisers. You may also arrange a time for our leadership to speak to your congregation, business, or community group to give them more information about The Well.

Special Events - Help with our fundraising events. Needs range from labeling invitations, to publicity, to physical set-up and decorating. There are events held such as: Mobile Food Pantry (2 x year), the yearly Volunteer Banquet and Song Writer Fundraising Events.

Customer Service Volunteers - There is always a need for individuals to work the hours of operation for the food pantry. The food pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 12p.m. and from 6:30 - 8pm. We may soon open on Saturday mornings from 10am - 12pm also.

Baggers and Shelf Stockers - We need volunteers to sort and stock our shelves with food that has been donated. We also need volunteers to come in and make bags of food items to hand out to customers.

Pantry Room Cleaner - We are in need of someone willing to come in to clean our shelves, floor and refrigerators

Bread Pick-Up - We need individuals to pick up bread from Publix on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and have it delivered to The Well by 9:45 a.m. on those days. We also need help picking up pastries from Starbucks on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Second Harvest Pick-Up - Individuals willing to pick up food from Second Harvest in Nashville on an as needed basis.

Kroger Pick-Up - People donate food bags and put in bins at Kroger. There is a need for someone to pick those bags up and bring them to The Well.  The number of bags needs to be counted and the number recorded for Second Harvest records.
